New Season Opens In Auckland Dominion Special Service. AUCKLAND. August 18. > Kain fell today after almost a week of line weather, and the outlook is doubtful for the I’akuranga Hunt races at Ellerslie tomorrow. Good Holds are engaged, and provision has beeu made for divisions in the back events. The betting will be under the win and place system, and horses likely to Hud favour include:— Greenmount Hunters’ Steeplechase— Bronzemor, Waiwainui, Ika Moana.
