Remove Obstacles To Peace
(Received August IS, 11.15 p.m.)
LONDON, August 18. The Bulgarian Prime Minister, M. Bagrianov, in a speech to a special session of Parliament on August 17, condemned Urn former Filov Government for entering the war without consulting (ho people, says the Ankara radio. He added that the Government fully recognized this, and was determined to remove the obstacles standing in the way of Bulgaria’s love of peace. The great majority of the people bad never entered the war.
A reference by M. Bagrianov to “forces of occupation” could not be understood from the version of tlie speech broadcast by the Sofia radio, his words, being drowned in cheers. What he said may be inferred from the context, his following words being: “They will not cause any new agonies to the Bulgarian people, or to any other people."
