Three Halls Continuously
Tlie Wellington Competition Festival opening today, represents a great concentration of activity within a fortnight's season. Three halls will be in continuous use, and for part of the time there will be four halls in use day and night. The innovation made in recent years 'by which adult classes are heard in the evenings at adjacent halls, while the evening concert programme is running in the main Town Hall, enables many competitors to enter who would not otherwise have the opportunity. This year there is a close 'balance In the number of entries as between singing. elocution and dancing, while the instrumental section lias shown a substantial increase. Low cost season tickets are available for adults and for children.
