Many Flying Bombs Sent Over (Received July 30. 7 p.m.) LONDON, July -J. A hospital was bit and set on fire during flying-bomb attacks last night on southern England, which included the London area. Seven patients were burk'd and there is little hope of their being recovered. Some of the patients were victims of a previous flying-bomb attackMasonry crashed on the sleeping quarters of the probationer nurses, several of whom were injured but instantly went to the aid of the patients, ninny of whom were blind and helpless. Babies and children in the hospital’s basement shelter were unhurt. Patients were evacuated from a hospital building opposite to a quicklyconverted emergency hospital. A terrific anti-aircraft barrage was put an during a shorn flying-bomb attack on southern England this afternoon. The Germans for a time sent a large number of robots over one area, and the ground defences quickly shot down a number Anti-aircraft gunners and R.A.F.. fighters dost roved more flying bombs this evening.
