PATRIOTIC TROTTING IN WAIKATO
Dominion Special Service. HAMILTON, Mareb 22. Approval of the Hawora Trotting Club’s two-day permit being used by the Waikato club, for patriotic purposes, on Easier Saturday and Monday. April 8 and 10, has been given by the Minister «»f Internal Affairs. The programme allows for two races on each day for tin* following classes: -Maiden trotters, 4.9, for a mile and five furlongs, and 5.7, for two miles; maiden pacers, 3.5, for a mile and a quarter, and 4.3, one mile and live furlongs; improving pacers, 3.1 and 3.57. The two principal races each day are set at -US, two miles, and 2.57. a mile and a quarter. Owing to the short notice it is proposed to call for entries at an early date. f
