Meeting At Hastings Today (By S’i. Simon.) Prospects are favourable for the opening day today of the Hawke’s Hay Jockey Club’s autumn meeting at Hastings, when the main item will be Hie Hawke's Bay of rough weather delaying the departure of the ship from Gisborne, the Poverty Bay horses who are coming south for the Hawke’s Bay circuit are not. expected to arrive in time for today’s races.
