Husband’s Petition Granted
NAPIER, February 1(5. A decree nisi, with interim custody of the child, was granted by Mr. Justice Smith in the Supreme Court, Napier, this morning in the case in which Jasper Lucas Herrick, shcepfarmer, Waipukurau, petitioned for divorce from Margaret Herrick, on the ground of adultery, the corespondent named being Alex. Gordon. . Mr. D. P. Scannell appeared for petitioner, but neither respondent nor corespondent was represented by counsel. At the outset, Mr. Scannell said that both respondent and co-respondent had filed affidavits admitting the allegations of petitioner. .. c j His Honour said that he was satisfied that the allegations . of petitioner had been proved, and petitioner was entitled to his decree, which he made accordingly. Costs were allowed petitioner on lowest scale against the co-respondent.
