RADCLIFFE CASE
Further Remand Granted
Florence May Radcliffe, domestic, aged 39, who was found guilty by a jury last Thursday on four counts of unlawfully using an instrument with intent to procure a miscarriage, appeared for sentence before the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) in the Supreme Court, Wellington, yesterday. The Chief Justice said he understood that counsel required further time _to consider whether there was any question on which he might wish to make some application. That was reasonable enough, said bis Honour, and he granted a remand till today. Mr. R. R. Scott is counsel for Mrs. Radcliffe.
