FOOD SUBSIDY BAN
President Expected To Veto New Bill
(Received February 18. 10.30 p.m ) WASHINGTON. February 18. Congress has completed legislation banning food subsidies, in spite of the Administration’s warnings that it will mean a 3000 million dollars increase in food prices. President Roosevelt vetoed a similar Bill last July. The Administration leaders predict that he will veto the new measure because it strikes at the heart of the economic stabilization programme.
