Team To Play Canterbury The sole selector for the Wellington Cricket Association, Mr. W. A. Baker, has been informed that N. Hoar (Air Force) will not bo available to play for Wellington against Canterbury, at Wellington, on February 25, 26 and 28. The Wellington team, with the twelfth man to be decided on the morning of the first day of the match, will be as follows: E. W. Tindill (captain), S. A. McVicar, W. G. Bain, R. Crawford, E. Bezzant, G. H. Stringer, F. H. L. Mooney, R. Buchan, H. Chapman, J. G. Ashenden, D. Knapp and R. Allen. Considerable surprise has been expressed at the omission of M. A. O’Brien, the Kilbirnie all-rounder, who showed such outstanding form against Hutt last Saturday.

WOMEN’S CRICKET

Following are the Wellington Women’s Cricket Association's fixtures for this afternoon :—

The Kilbirnie-Wellington. Onslow. Technical Old Girls, College Old Girls, Technical Day Girls, senior teams will assemble on Prince of Wales Park at. 1.45 p.m. Tn the junior grade. Trinity will play Midland on the Nairn Street Reserve.
