FLEMINGTON MEETING CANCELLED
MELBOURNE, February IS. Plans I’pr the autumn racing season in Victoria have been upset by an announcement that Saturday's Futurity Stakes .meeting at Flemington will not' be held. No decision has been made whether the meeting will be postponed <>r abandoned. Fires at the State coal mine at Ynlloura caused the cancellation of special train services to Flemington. Normally these would cope with 30,000 people, and the restricted tram service could not cope with this overllow.
