FIRE AT WOBURN
Girls’ Hostel Cafeteria Gutted A fire broke out early this morning at the Girls’ Hostel at Woburn. The Hutt Fire Brigade received the call at 2.15 and on arrival the cafeteria of the hostel was well ablaze. The fire had a good hold and although the brigade worked hard it was impossible to save the building which was gutted. The fire was fanned by a breeze from tlie north.
