OUTING FOR MOTHERS AND CHILDREN
An outing was given recently by the president and committee of the Wellington After-Care Association (for backward children) for the mothers and children of the club, at the residence of Airs. T. Young, Titahi Bay. Mrs. David Coutts, J.P., president, thanked Mrs. Young for her kindness and generosity in lending her home. A happy and enjoyable day was spent by all.

The president and committee of the women's section of the W.R.S.A. invite mothers and wives of prisoners of war in Germany to meet repatriated prisoners of war from German camps and escapees from'ltalian, camps at the Vocational Training Centre, Lloyd Street, Wellington, at 2.30 p.m. next Saturday.

Head-hugging cloche hats and berets are worn with them.
