Beekeepers And Advisory Committee

Following a full meeting of the Dominion executive of the National Beekeepers’ Association of New Zealand heid in Palmerston North on Saturday, at which the Minister of Marketing, Mr. Roberts, wiisr present, the Dominion president, Mr. E. A. Field, stated that the executive bad declined the invitation of the Minister to appoint two members from the association to a special advisory committee while the present Honey Control Board remained in existence. After hearing the Minister and his advisors the executive had decided that no s’stisfactory solution could be seen to the Liekeepers' claim for a reasonable increase in the Internal Marketing Division's price to producers within the, framework of stabilization as affected by the Honey Marketing Regulations 1943.
