RUSSIAN APPRECIATION
The mayoress of Wellington, Mrs. T. O. A. Hislop, has, received the following cable from the Soviet Ambassador inLondon :— “Please accept and convey to the Women’s Patriotic Committee my warmest thanks for the seven, cases of clothing and for the two previous : shipments which arrived safely. These gifts are ■much appreciated.” ■ . A This cable will be of particular interest to the group of women who collected, renovated and packed this clothing.
