OBITUARY

Mrs. A. A. Cramond

The death of Mrs. A. A. Cramond, Wellington, which occurred at her home in Kelburn suddenly early on Sunday morning, came as a great shock to her family and many friends, even though she had been in indifferent health for several years. Her willingness to lend her help* to any good cause in which her interest was enlisted won for her the affection and friendship of many, Mrs. Cramond was a vice-president of the Wellington branch of • the Victoria League, of which she had been a member for a number of years, and was particularly interested in the activities of its younger members. She. was at one time president of the Kelburn branch of the Plunket Society, in which she Was actively interested for, some years, and was a member of the Wellington Women’s Club and of St. Andrew's Church. Born in Dunedin, Mrs.. Cramond lived in Invercargill before coming to . Wellington about 20 years ago. While in the South Island she took an active interest in kindergarten affairsl She 'is survived by her husband, a son. three daughters and one grandchild. Her son, Lieutenant Reginald Cramond, Auckland, is with the New Zealand Forces in Italy. The daughters are Mrs. DbuglaS Foster, Misses Noeline and Helen Cramond.
