“The Pied Piper” (Plaza).— Monty Woolley, complete with hirsute adornment, in an appealing story of an irascible Englishman, who guides five children to safety across Nazi-occupied France, “Bataan” (Majestic).—A wartime drama of the men who fought the Japanese on the Bataan peninsula. Robert Taylor plays the' leading role. Next change: “Above Suspicion," starring Joau Crawford, Fred Mac-Murray and Conrad Veldt. “A lank In Dutch” (Kings).—An R.A.F pilot lands in Holland to find himselt allied with a lovely saboteur lighting the Nazis. The film stars Franchot Tone and Joan Bennett. Next change is “Tales of Manhattan," with a cast including Charles Boyer, Rita Haywood, Ginger Rogers, Henry Fonda, Charles Laughton Edward G. Robinson, and Paul Robeson. “China Girl” (State!.—Gene llerney as a beautiful girl who is the central figure in a dramatic action-packed story or Japanese-occupied China. George Montgomery is the leading man. “Happy Go Lucky” (St. James).—A tuneful technicolour musical with . Mary Martin and Dick Powell at their singing best Betty Hutton and Eddie Bracken provide the comedy.
