OWNED DISQUALIFIED
Dominion Special Service. AUCKLAND, February J 3. The judicial committee of the Matamata Racing Club decided on Saturday to disqualify Mr. H. Brickman for six months. Sir. Brickman was not present at the Matamata meeting when his horse Salmi, the trainer, S. McGreal, and the jockey, R. Shaw, were disqualified for six months in connexion with the running of Salmi in the First Railway Hack Handicap. Mr. Brickman was requested to appear before the committee on Saturday to show cause why bo should not be disqualified also, and following a lengthy Inquiry his disqualification was announced.
