Licut.-Colonel Anderson’s Family at

Wanganui. Mrs. J. E. Anderson is now resident in Wanganui. Her husband, Lieut.-Colon-el J. E. (Jock) Anderson, 0.8. E., M.C., R.E., is at present in India, where he is engaged on important railway construction work. This appointment with the Imperial Army followed his great achievement in laying (he Mcrsa Ma trull-Tobruk railway in record time. He was then at-' taehed to (he New Zealand Forces. For this work he received the 0.8. E. Lieut.* Coloncl Anderson also distinguished himself in the 1914-1918 war when he won the M.C, and Bar, and the Croix- de Guerre. The eldest son, John, is nearly through his medical course; another son, Tim, is in the Fleet Air Arm. and a daughter, Peggy, is nursing in New Plymouth Hospital. The three other children are being educated in Wanganui.
