MASTERTON WEDDING
Bolton—Robinson
A pretty wedding was held recently at St. Mathew's Church, Masterton, when Eileen Elspeth, younger daughter of Mrs. I. Robinson and the late Mr. R. H. Robinson, was married to James Drummond, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Bblton, Pownall Street, Masterton. The Ven. Archdeacon Rich officiated. The bridff who was given away by uncle, Mr. A. Desmond. Carterton, wore a beautiful gown of cream satin. Her tulle veil fell from a lace head-dress of Elizabethan style, and she carried a sheaf of white gladioli, carnations aud roses. Attending as bridesmaid was Miss Louie Fenemor, who wore a picturesque frock of lupin blue organdie., Her shoul-der-length veil was caught with a topknot of matching velvet, flowers, aud she carried a sheaf of pink gladioli. Mr. Walter Tlazlewood. Wellington, was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Masonic Hall, where Mesdames Robinson and Bolton received the guests. Mrs. Robinson wore a teal blue and black ensemble finished with a shoulder spray of red carnations, and Mrs. Bolton’s wine and black ensemble was finished with a matching spray of wine-coloured carnations. When the bride and bridegroom left by car for the north, the bride travelled in a blue suit and carried a silver fox fur.
