DURATION OF WAR
(Received February 13. 7 p.m.) OTTAWA, February 12. Addressing delegates to the Canadian congress of labour, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mackenzie King, said. “No one can say how long the war will last. Circumstances have arisen in Italy which could not be guarded against. Similarly when the attack on the western front is launched unforeseen circumstances may prolong the war not days or months, but years.”
