POST-WAR TASK
Maximum Production (Received February 13, 10 p.m.) LONDON, February 12. The New Zealand Minister in Washington, Mr. Nash, in a speech at the Fabian international food conference, supported Sir J. B. Orr, who contended that Britain after the war must lead in providing decent houses and good food. Mr. Nash said: “We cannot do it for ourselves alone. It must be done for all peoples or else we" will eventually have again to fight as we are fighting now. The task before the world is to produce the maximum.”
