20-MILE HARBOUR RACE
Yesterday, the Heretaunga Yachting Club held the annual .general handicap for tne Prex Cup. A course of approximately -0 miles waa established and 15 y“cbts crossed the starting line, A light southerly provided easy going for the first leg, but when the heavy weather came up. the race became a test of endurance for both the crews and the yachts. The result was that six boats failed to complete the course. The fastest time was put up by Tornado, which covered the 20 miles in 2hr. 31min. Official placlngs were as follows: Rogue. 1: Monospar 2; Idle Along, 3. The -Hutcbwiico Valhalla. Prex, Legend and lona also crossed the finishing line,
