Digging For Victory
Sir,—l would like to comment on the impression given by reading the report concerning the Wellington “Dig for Victory” Exhibition, with particular reference to the activities of the W.W.S.A. laud group. Instead of having 200 members, the group can muster only about 50 who “dig for victory” and donate their harvest to service clubs week by week. Secondly, this group has been digging for victory with' zest since 1940, and the “Dig for Victory" committee can claim no credit whatever for assisting ,or encouraging its activities. —I am, etc., GREEN BUT DIRTY, FINGERS. Wellington, February 10.
