DIG FOR VICTORY

Exhibition Opens Today After weeks of preparation the Dig "or Victory exhibition of vegetables and flowers at the Wellington Town Hall will be opened at 3 p.m. today by the Prime Minister Mr. Fraser. The exhibition is sponsored by the Agricultural Department and is being held under the auspices of the Wellington Junior Chamber of Commerce. The exhibition will be open also tomorrow and Friday. Well over 1200 entries have been submitted for the various vegetable competitions open to the general public free of charge. The most popular entry has been for individual vegetables. Over 500 entries have been submitted in this category. Entries will be judged and prize winning exhibits will have suitable labels attached for visitors to scrutinize when they visit the appropriate stand. The stands are laid out on the main floor of the Town Hall and in the gallery. Every effort has been made to assist patrons of the exhibition so that they may dig better gardens*. They will glean a general knowledge how to produce better and bigger results. Experts will be present to answer questions and. help visitors on any, difficult, pointe. <
