Dedicated to the memory of the late Mr. H. D. Acland, Christchurch, a stained Class memorial window was unveiled at the church at Mount. Peel station last week by his daughter. Miss Phillipa Aclaud. The window, which has two lancets representing “The Light of the World” and “The Good Shepherd.” was designed and executed by Mr. R. H. Fraser, Dunedin. The cost of the win? dow was subsidized by members of the New Zealand Sheepowners’ Federation, of which Mr. Acland was president from •its foundation in 1910 till his death in 1942.
