A 12-ycar-old Birmingham boy stumped the 8.8.C.’s "brains trust” last night when he asked the question, “l am learning French and would like to know why they divide words into masculine and feminine genders.” All the members of the trust, including Mdlle. Yvonne Arnaud, the French actress, Professor Andrade. of London University, Professor Saurat, of the French Institute, and Mr. C. B. Cochran, the well-known showman, were forced to admit they were unable to answer.
