MARTIAL LAW IN HANKOW
(Received September 24, 9.50 pm.) RUGBY, September. 23. American bombers raided Kweking on Monday and bite were scored on docks and shipping. A direct hit was obtained on a destroyer in the harbour. Martial law has been imposed in Hankow because of numerous clashes between Japanese soldiers and the Chinese puppet police.
