Labour SIR APIRANA NGATA DEFEATED Results Of The Election The four Maori seats in the House of Representatives were all wou by the Labour Party candidates at the elections held yesterday in Hie Maori electorates, following Hie usual custom pt bolding these polls the day before the general election. The surprise of the polling was the defeat in Eastern Maori pt the political veteran and father of larliament, Sir Apirana Ngata, Hie National I arty candidate.
