DRASTIC MEASURES
Foreshadowed In Japan
LONDON, September 21. Tokio radio announced that the Japanese Cabinet, in extraordinary session, had decided on drastic measures and changes on the home front to meet the present grave war situation. Details will be announced tomorrow, when General Tojo will broadcast. Tokio radio threatened reprisals against the American mainland if United States planes again attack Japan. The announcer said: “Hello, America. Japan also has long-range planes. You bomb us and we will bomb you. It is a game two can play.”
