FORMER SPANISH MINISTER VISITS U.S.
WASHINGTON, March 6. The “New York Times” says the former Spanish Foreign Minister, Sen or Juan Beigbeder. has arrived in America. Mr. Sumner Welles explained that he came solely at the initiative of the Spanish Government. Diplomats say it is not a diplomatic mission but that he has come for private military reasons involving a first-hand study of American affairs and the war effort.
