BROKEN INTO AXIS POSITIONS
Strong Thrust In Tunisia LONDON, February 3. The German news agency announced that strong Allied forces have broken into the Axis positions in the central sector on the Tunisian front. Reuter's correspondent in North Africa says Hint a real threat to the German communications is developing in the south, where American forcesare thrusting southward down the railway from Gal'sa to the coast. Meanwhile, according to Algiers radio, advanced forces of the Eighth Army are patrolling near the western end of the M a ret h Line.
