MILITARY APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS
.Military appointments and promotions gazetted last night include:— Major R. W. Harding, M.M., to be lleu-tenant-colonel; Colonel W. G. Gentry, 0.8. E., to be temporary brigadier while commanding an infantry brigade; Majors T. C. Campbell, M.C., and D. J. Fountaine, M.C., to be temporary lieutenantcolonels while commanding battalions; Major R. J. Eyre to be temporary lieu-tennnt-eolonel; Captain G. I*. Cade to be major; Major J. L. Bouifant to be temporary lieutenant-colonel while commanding an infantry battalion; Major M. K. Gray to be lieutenant-colonel.
