News And Notes Concei t For Men in Camp. Decently a popular concert was given by. Miss Bsme Crow and her concert party, to men at the Winter Show building, Wellington, The programme was bright and varied, and included tap dancing, magic, and voeal items, thumb nail sketches, instrumental, comedy, aud contortionist numbers. Those taking part Averc: Misses lysine Crow, Hazel Martin and her ballet, D. .Wyatt, A. W'ilkin, L. Lane, G. ami V. England, D. Smith, 11. Kogerson, aud J. Smith; Messrs. R. Turner-Cottier, J. Thomas. N. Sander, H. Woolcott, r. Cousins, R. Moug,-and Sergeant Gordon. The accompanists were Miss Hazel Martin and Messrs. C. Sander and D. Clark. Captain Miller acted as announcer, and at the conclusion thanked Miss Crow and her party for a most enjoyable evening. Visitors Welcomed.

At a recent meeting of the Lyall Bay Patriotic Committee the president, Mrs. C Tilyard, reported that .1075 knitted articles had been handed in to the .Mayoress’s Patriotic Committee, consisting ot 53(1 pairs of mittens, 270 hahndavas. 240 scarves, 20 caps, S pairs of socks, and •> pairs of gloves. The committee extended thanks to the helpers who had done this work so willingly. Up to date the committee had also purchased and packed übo parcels for overseas.
