AIRMEN IN CEYLON
Form Of Address To Use A special mail address for New Zealand air personnel in the li_A.F. serving in Ceylon was given by the Minister of liefence, Mr. Jones, yesterday. He said that mails intended for New Zealand air personnel who may be serving iu Ceylon should now be addressed separately from that intended for personnel iu India. The two official addresses are as follows :— For Ceylon : Care of R.A.F., Ceylon. For India: Care of R.A.F., India Command, Kelvin Grove, Simla. India. “'The official number aud rank of the officer or airman concerned should always be given, together with his name and initials,” said Mr. Jones. “By enabling next-of-kin to write direct to Ceylon, instead of through the R.A.F. at Simla, it is hoped that mails will be facilitated.” The Minister said that next-of-kin should notify headquarters, Wellington, of any change of address. “If this is not done,” ho added, “there may be some delay iu passing on information concerning air personnel.”-
