ARBITRATION COURT
Evidence in support of a claim for a new award by the Wellington General Labourers’ Union occupied the Court of Arbitration in Wellington most of yesterday. Mr. Justice Tyndall presided, with him being Mr. A. L. Monteith (employees’ representative) and Mr W. Cecil Prime (employers representative). Mr. P. Butler is representing the applicants and Mr. W. J. Mountjoy the employers, on whose side the Wellington City Council is cited. The ease for the employers will be put when the hearing is resumed, on Monday.
