WEEKEND PROSPECTS FOR ANGLERS
All rivers and streams in the Mania watu district are reported to be unfishable. In the Wairarapa district tile smaller streams are clearing, and may be suitable at the weekend, but the Ruamahanga River is in Hood. The Otaki River is discoloured, but the smaller streams to the southward are clearing and should be in good order at the end of the week,,-All the rivers and streams in the Hutt River system are clearing, and promise good conditions by tomorrow. The Wainui-o-mata is dear and in good order.
