YESTERDAY’S ACCIDENTS

.Mr. C. N. McDonald, caretaker of the Colonial .Mutual Life Building in Customhouse Quay, Wellington, had his left foot crushed when it was caught between the lift and the wall of the lift well at about 2.30 p.m. yesterday. Mrs. S. Kirby. 48 Wilson Street, Wellington, received a fractured right thigh when she was knocked over by a bicycle in John Street at 4.15 p.m. yesterday. Mr. S. Matthews, storeman, Owen Street, Belmont, received a fractured right arm when he fell about 10 feet at Petone. All the injured persons were taken to hospital by the Wellington Free Ambulance.
