Third Auckland Appraisal (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) 1 AUCKLAND, January 8. Cheques distributed, in payment for wool valued at the third Auckland appraisal held from December 8 to H were announced tonight by the secretary of the Auckland Wool brokers’ Association as having totalled £353,853. The average price realized was £l7 14/1 a bale and 12.25(1. a lb., while the total net weight appraised was 6,931,1921 b. At the corresponding payout last season the cheque was for £290,790, the average prices being £l7/19/1 a bale and 12.39 d. a lb. »
