RAILWAY TO GISBORNE
Projected Timetable Dominion Special Service. WAIROA, November 14. The railway line through to Gisborne from Wairoa is expected to be opened for traffic at the end of April next. Officers of the Railways Department who visited Wairoa today discussed the projected timetable with Wairoa business men, who expressed complete satisfaction with the schedule, which has yet to be approved by the General Manager. The tentative timetable provides for the running of three night, steam trains a week, and the Wairoa railear service will be retained.
