Miss Betty Nash, Hokowhitu, Palmerston North, who has been the guest of Mrs. S. T. Williams, Barnard Street, Wadestown, has returned home from Wellington.

Mrs. H. W. Teasdale and Mrs. P. L. Locke left Wellington by air for Auckland yesterday.

Mrs. W. Annan, Otago, will arrive at Wellington from the south today.

Lady Ostler, Wellington, is in Hamilton with her husband, Sir Hubert Ostler, who will preside at the Supreme Court sessions there.

Mrs M. H. Costello, Seddon, provincial president of the Marlborough executive of the W.D.F.U., fe visiting Wellington in connexion with the annual Dominion conference, and is the guest of Miss M. C. Maddever, Oriental Bay. Miss Ironside, who has been warden and lecturer at the Teachers’ Training College, Christchurch, for a number or years, sent in her resignation at the end of last term, and will be leaving soon to live in the North Island.

Mrs. Stonewigg and Mrs. Hancock, delegates to the conference of the Women’s Division Of the Farmers Union in Wellington, are staying at the Hotel Cecil.

Mrs. F. B. Lowes, Mangaone, Mrs. George, Alfredton; Miss A. Anderson, Eketahuna, and Miss Gray, Masterton, who are delegates to the W.D.F.U. conference in Wellington, are staying at the Hotel Waterloo.

Miss Eva Card, Featherston, and Miss Jessie McKenzie, Masterton, are visiting Wellington and are staying at the Hotel Cecil.

Sister M. G. Hitehman, N.Z.A.N.S., and Mrs. W. Anderson, Napier, are the guests of their sister, Nurse R. Hitchman, Telford Terrace, Oriental Bay, Wellington. Sister Hitchman will leave on a visit to Hawke’s Bay today. MISS' Judith Moore, Palmerston North, has returned from an extended visit to Auckland and Hamilton.

Mrs. John Gamble, Lower Hutt, has returned home, after visiting the Chateau Tongariro.

Mrs. Gordon Elliott, Fitzberbert, Palmerston North, has returned from a visit to the Chateau Tongariro.
