Believed To Be Victim Of Hit-and-Run Motorist

Head Injuries were received by Mr. W. J. Perkins, 66 Rintoul Street, Newtown, when walking in Tory Street at 11.10 o’clock on Saturday night. He was found lying on the street and it is believed that he was knocked down by a motorist who did not stop and whose identity had not been established at a late hour last night. Mr. Perkins was taken to the Wellington Hospital by the Free Ambulance. His injuries are not considered to be serious..
