A profit of- £l2O for patriotic funds resulted from the recent gymkhana organized by the Wanganui A. and P. Association, the secretary, Mr. A. R. Donaldson, reported to. .the monthly meeting-of the executive today. The treasurer reported a credit balance of £257 at the end of April. Though unable to hold a show last year, the association was able to live within its income. The association had no liabilities. A letter was received from Mr. Donald Ross enclosing a cheque for £lO toward the funds of the association. Mr. Ross, in a letter, stated that he hoped that a show would be held this year, even if fewer entries were received. Mr. Ross was thanked for his gift.
