Nazi Military Machine PREDICTION BY OIL MAGNATE (By Telegraph-Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received March 28, 9.15 p.m.) TORONTO. March 28. Mr. Max Ball, president of Abasand Oils, Limited, in a speech, said Germany’s military machine in the next three to six months \voul,d face a petroleum shortage, forcing the Nazis to abandon the blitzkrieg and fall back on defensive warfare. He said he had obtained data from the British Ministry of Information showing that the British blockade and aerial destruction of oil supply centres would cause the Nazis to be short of from 4,000,000 to 7,000,000 barrels of oil monthly, notwithstanding any increased supplies from Rumania or Bulgaria. Russia. he said, was not living up to the 1939 agreement and had sent little oil to the Nazis.
