The Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association has been notified of this by the office of the Department of Industries and Commerce. The request is from Nicholas Widder and Company, New York. A letter from this firm states that as most of its former markets have been closed it desires to find new connexions, and would like to have names and addresses of firms who would be interested in exporting their products to America. “We are interested iu all kinds of merchandise,” the letter adds, “and right now we are on the market for the purchase of goose feathers and plumes, as well as goose liver —pate de fols gras.”
