Wilding Shield Match At Miramar ROWING REGATTA The majority of summer sports in Wellington will conclude their official seasons today. Among the major attractions is the Wilding Shield tennis match at Miramar between Wellington (holders) and Waikato. Association Cricket. The principal cricket match today is that between the senior champions, Kilbirnie, and the Best at the Basin Reserve, starting af 11 a.m. At Kelburn Bark the Association and Mercantile League umpires will hold their annual match. At Karori the . local club will stage its second North-South match of the season. Mercantile League. Mercantile League fixtures are:— A Grade—Amalgamated Bricks v. Hannahs, Newtown No 7; Workipgmen’s Club v. James Smiths, Newtown No. 1; Woolworths v. Smith and Smiths, Newtown No. 2; Harbour Board win by default from Customs Agents. Grade Representatives.—B grade v. 0 grade, Newtown No. 3; D grade v. E and F grades. Newtown No. 5. Hutt Valley dissociation. Following are the Hutt Valley Cricket Associations fixtures for today :—Trafalgar Park v. Metters United, Trafalgar Park No. 1; Bell Park v. Empire, Bell Park win by default; Eastbourne v. The Evans Bay Yacht and Motor Boat Club will sail club handicaps for the centreboard classes.
