Instructions To Schools
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, March 7.
Instructions were going out to all schools almost immediately with reference to the steps to be taken should a state of emergency arise, said the Alinister of Education, Air. Mason, when speaking at the opening of the new primary school at Norsewood yesterday. People should wait for detailed instructions, he said. He did not want them rushing into tlie construction 1 of trenches in school grounds or doing' any such work without proper instructions. “Alaybe the war is not so close to our shores at all, but we will take certain elementary precautions,” he said.
