THREE MONTHS’ JAIL FOR THEFT
A sentence of three months’ imprisonment was imposed on John James Healey, need 31, cabinetmaker, who pleaded guilty before Mr. Luxford, S.M., in the Magistrates’ Court, Wellington, yesterday morning, to a charge of stealing 11 5/- in cash and 17 petrol coupons the property of Johanna Morrison, in Wellington, on March 1. Chief-Detective P. Doyle said that Healey was boarding at Mrs. Morrisons residence, and had stolen the money and coupons from her purse. He bad been before the Court on live previous occasions for dishonest offences.
