RAFT ON WAITOTARA BEACH
May Be That On Which Young Couple Were Lost Dominion Special Service. WANGANUI, March 4. A raft, which may be that on which a young Hawera couple, Mr. and Mrs. C. Oakes, set out from Ohawe beach on the evening of January 27, has been found three-quarters of a mile inside the mouth of the Waitotara River. The discovery was made on Sunday by Mr. C. C. Hodgetts, Station Road, Waitotara, who is holding the raft pending inquiries being made by the police with a view to establishing its identity.-
