Arriving From U.S. Every Day LONDON, March 3. Even without the Lease and Lend Bill Britain is getting a large amount of material every day from the arsenal of democracy. Mr. John Winant, United States Ambassador to London, told Pressmen today that he thought German propagandists were wrong’ when they said that American help would be too late. He said an increasing amount of material to help Britain was coming every day from the United States. It was’Mr. Winant’s first Press conference since his arrival in this country. Colonel Donovan, who has been on a tour of Europe as President Roosevelt’s representative, has arrived in Britain.
